Yakima Canine Club

General Information

General

At Yakima Canine Club, we aim to make your dog's stay as safe and comfortable as possible while they're away from their “pack.”

  • Boarding guests will have three opportunities throughout the day to go outside for fresh air & sunshine and relief in one of our turf yards. We have "individual play time" options if you'd like your pup to have designated one on one time with staff for specific play or attention. If your dog regularly attends our PlayCare program, they'll join the groups for a portion of the day.   Twice a month is considered "regular" attendance.

  • Adjoining Rooms: We offer kennels with adjoining slide-up doors, perfect for multi-dog households. This setup allows dogs to have their own space while still having access to each other when they want some sibling-free time.

  •  At YCC our boarding arrivals/departures are similar to a hotel. Drop off hours 2-5pm.  Pick up hours 8-11am. If you need to drop off outside that time frame please select "early drop off" or "Late check out" in the add-on's during your booking.   This ensures your pup's space is prepped for his arrival.

  • For our daycare services, all dogs must be spayed or neutered by the age of 8 months.

  • Our boarding prices reflect per dog, not per kennel

What to Bring
  • Food:  Dogs/cats do better with their own food. We do have food available if you accidently leave yours at home for $3 per meal.

  • If they have a favorite blanket or toy, feel free to bring.

  • Any medications. Our staff can administer medications and will have a "medication" log for each guest. For guests needing specialized care we have "specialized care" option   For multiple dogs from the same home in the same kennel who need to be separated to feed, please select the adjoining kennel option when booking or add the "specialized care" option for them.

  • For the safety of all our pets, all dogs must enter the building on a leash
